With in-house and law firm experience handling a range of business transactions, Reggie offers clients a pragmatic perspective on getting deals done and moving their business forward. In the last two years, he has served as counsel on more than 50 venture capital investments. As in-house counsel for a major U.S. food distributor, he negotiated and drafted key business agreements to facilitate nationwide sales and distribution efforts. In addition to handling commercial contracts, Reggie counseled executive leadership with advice and analysis regarding business units’ ongoing process improvements and Covid-19 related legal issues. Reggie’s background also includes work in investment analysis, corporate purchasing, and other areas of business management and administration.

Clients value Reggie’s focus on honesty, responsiveness, and outstanding client service. Business owners and key executives rely on his counsel in transactions relating to mergers, stock and asset acquisitions and dispositions, and entity formation. He has handled due diligence and closing activities for private equity deals and negotiated key agreements around operations and employment for clients in the sports, media, and entertainment industries.

Active in the community, Reggie serves as a community representative for the Chicago Public Schools Local School Council in his neighborhood, is a member of the Board of Directors of the South Side YMCA, and serves as a pro bono attorney for Cabrini Green Legal Aid.
